Some of our customers have traded with us for over 20 years, and these are just some of the solutions we’ve provided.
Conveyor sensing requirement
Issue: One of our customers needed a quick solution to sense food products
exiting the end of a conveyor.
Solution: We applied a light curtain usually used for safety.
The result: This alternative solution resulted in an extremely satisfied customer (and incidentally our largest order ever).
Safety of abattoir operators
Issue: A customer needed to provide safety to operators in a very unforgiving
wet and difficult environment - an abattoir.
Our solution: After researching various products fully, we selected the Prosafe stainless steel trapped key system, which fulfilled all our customer’s requirements. We then arranged for all the guarding to be re-made and the product installed correctly.
The result: Seven years on, the system still gives good service and has become the standard throughout the plant.
Delivering the complete kit
Issue: We were asked to supply cable to a customer who produces door controls.
Our solution: By fully understanding this customer’s requirements, it became evident that we could offer a more complete service by cutting and wiring the cable, fitting it to the control box and delivering the complete kit to them.
The result: A customer who was impressed that we delivered more than was asked of us – and a regular volume of work for many years.
Safety expertise & free assessment
Our safety expertise has resulted in some of our largest and most satisfying orders. We are usually asked to look at one particular application, but in many cases, we then apply our knowledge and skill to offer a complete package. We use an independent Safety Advisor, and projects in university and college workshops, production lines and maintenance upgrades have become the backbone of our safety business.
